Construction of the first stage, which comprises accommodation for 300 patients plus services for future expan'iori, will be started this fall land carried on through the winter to ,provide employment f or many tradesmen in the dis- trict, Mr. Connell. said. Cost of the first stage of construction of this hospital is estimated at about $3,500,- 000. 3,500;000. However, Mr. Connell pointed out that many of the costs' included in this figure, including the laundry, power plant, administration wing and" sewage system, would not be repe'a'ted when future addictions are made. The plans for this hospi- tal are a radical change from.
