Young George "Butch" Elliott with his pure white
pony, was the envy of all local youngsters at the Spring
Show. He helped lead the parade through town which
opened the fair; took part in the single pony hitched
class, as above, when his companion was his sister Patsy,
and earned the special prize for Clinton and district—the
only single harness pony shown from within an eight
mile radius. "Butch" is the ten-year-old son of Mr. and
Mrs. "Doc" George Elliott. (News-Record Photo)
