The first record of interest in
Brownies' and..Guidas in Adastral

in. Deeember, 1950. A meeting
WAS held at the ii:gne of Sergeant
and Mrs. A, Brown, FclingntQA
Road, to discuss the possibilities
of forming .a Brownie Pack,. As a
result of the formed at this
meeting, the and Clinton RCA'
Brownie Pack was registered on
jiaimary 16, 1951, with Mrs,. J. A,
Brown as Brown Owl, 'assisted by
Mrs. Dubois and Edwards,
There were 16 Brownies and the
Pack met in Mrs. Brown's home.
Due to the rapidly increasing
numbers of potential Brownies, it
was found that a more suitable
place was' a necessity. Through
the kind co-operation of the Com-
manding Officer and C, A. Trott,
principal of A/V/.1Y1 Hugh Camp-
bell Public School, permission was
Queen's Scout
gt'anted. to told meetings in the
school. From the time of regia,
tration until the present, there
have been seven Drown Owls and
an expanding' number of Tawny
Owls, because of the frequent
,change of personnel in the eoni-
mnnity, The present Brawn Owl
is Mrs, Joan Cameron, assisted by
Mrs, S. Smith and Mrs. F. Lud-
wig, with an enrolment of 21.
Brownies.
By 1955, it was necessary, due
to, increased numbers, to forrn
new pack, which was known as
the 3rd Clinton RCAF Brownie,
aok. In OCtober, 1955, the new
pack was registered with Mrs.
Galbraith as Brown Owl. At
present there are 33...Brownies in
this pack under the leadership of
Mrs. Ann Nickeraon as Brown
Owl ,and Mrs, V, Crockett as.
Tawny Owl:
