Last Thursday evening Rev.
Harold Steed, -Moorefield,: was
guest speaker at a joint meeting
of the Explorer and Mission Band
groups. Rev. Steed, who has spent
years in Africa until two years
ago, showed slides of African life
and customs, which proved very
interesting as Africa has been so
prominent- in the news for some
time.
Mrs, Robert Townsend, Who
spent the past month with rela-
tives in Morden, Man,, and in
Regina, Sask., returned home last
Friday. Miss Dorothy Little and.
Mrs. Bentham, Oshawa, accomp-
anied her home from:.. Toronto. A
sister, Mrs. Armstrong, Morden,.
who has been in poor health for
some time, is being oared for in a
nursing ,home in Morden and is as
well as..can be expected.
