Provincial Parks
Permit Costs $2.00
The, - year-rouud admission to
the Pinery provincial parlt will be
raised to $2,09 this year instead
of $1.00, according to an -an-
nouncement in, the Ontario leg7'
islature last week.
This fee is 'the same in all pro,
vincial parks, Once paid, it en-
titles the car owner to enter any
or all provincial parks as often
as he wishes during the year.
A new one-day sticker-permit
is being introduced which will
cost 75 . cents. Overnight camp-
site permits have been increased.

Mrs. Harry Caldwell and John
E. Caldwell were called to, Walled
Lake, Michigan, en Sunday dtie to the sudden, death of John ,Doig,
son of Alex M. Dorig, St. Peters-burg, Florida. John Doig contrac-
ted lockjaw following an injury.
He died May 7, at the age of 47.

lege schools and academy schools.
Mrs. McKim said she preferred
their schools based on, the English
pattern, es they are much stric-
ter in every Way- than in the rest
of Canada.
Mrs. McKim displayed some
.articles brought , from Newfound-
land,- including a fur coat of rare
baby seal and also hand loomed
materials,
Mrs. Melcini was introduced by
Mrs.. Gordon Rathwell and thank-
ed by Mrs. S. Middleton, on behalf
of the ladies for a most outstan-
ding evening's entertainment.

and this was followed by the an-
nual sale of plants, which conduct- ,
ed a splendid meeting.
