Mr. and Mrs. Oliver Anderson

The executive meeting of the
Horticulture Society was held at
the home of Mrs. E. Davies, with
the president, Mrs. Kenneth Scott
in charge. The minutes were ap-
proved as read , by the secretary,
Mrs. Gordon R. .Taylor. The treas-
urer Mrs. Bert Craig gave the fin-
ancial statement. Plans were made
for the 'flower beds for the-coming
season and a special meeting is

Although some insurance was carried it will not
be near enough to replace the value of property lost in
the fire last Thursday morning, May 5. •
It is hoped by the Clinton Kinsmen. Club that the
people of Clinton and vicinity will respond in their usual
generous way at this time.
