Sylvia Grace Swan, Richmond
Hill, and William Thomas Mona-
ghan, Richvale, before an altar
banked with red and pink roses in
St, Mary's Catholic Church, Rich-
mond Hill, The bride is the
daughter of Mr. and Mrs. C. E.
Swan, HuntsVille, ' and the groom
is the son of. Mr. and Mrs. W. E.

ceremony.
The bride, given in marriage by
John Hall, Huntsville, was lovely
in a floor-length gown of chiffon
and lace over silk with bouffant
skirt. A -tiara of pearls and se-
quins supported a silk illusion

cascade of red roses and feather-

by Maja Marie Roobol, and-Don-
ald IVicr adzean Dodds, in a liavely
spring wedding •at Hensall United. Church, on. Saturday, May 7, be-
fore the Rev. Currie Winlaw,
minister of the church, assisted by
Rev, Charles D. Daniel, Ingersoll,
a former minister, amid a floral
settling of standards of pink and
white snapdragons, ferns and can-
delabra.
The bride is the daughter of Mr.
and Mrs. Simon Roobol, Hensall,
and the groom's parents are Mr,
and Mns, William Dodds, RR 1,
Seaforth. Miss Greta Lammie
presided -at the organ console for
traditional bridal music and ac-
companied the soloist Mrs. Carl
Payne, Hensall, who sang "The
Lard's Prayer" and; "0 Perfect
Love."
The. bride, given in marriage by
her father, wore a beautiful bridal
govvn of peau de soie which feat-
ured a scooped neckline edged
with guipure lace and long lily
point sleeves. Her long full skirt
had a pleated side interest edged
with -guipure lace ending in a
beautiful chapel: train. A tiara of
sequins and seed pearls held her
fingertip veil of pure silk illusion
and she carried a cascade of pink
roses and stephanotis.
Matron of honor Mrs. Ray Lee,
Seaforth, 'and bridesmaids Miss
June Ross and Mrs, Ron Decker,
both of London, were gowned
alike in street length dresses of
turquoise silk organza featuring
scooped necklines, full skirts with
ruffled panels in front and free
ties of turquoise pea de soire from
the neckline' at the back. They
carried cascades of pink and white
carnations: -

groomsman. Ron Gelderland,
Ridgetown, and. Fred McGregor:
Brucefield, ushered' the guests.
For the reception in the church
parlors the bride's mother wore a
teal blue brocaded two piece dress
with threequarter length sleeves
and Elizabethan collar, pink and
black 'accessories. The. groom's
mother wore dusty rose ensemble
styled with -a lace bodice and
three-quarter length sleeves, and
accessories of royal blue and
white. Both wore corsage of white
carnations.
For travelling to Western Can-
ada the bride travelled' in a bro-
cade beige and brown dress over
which was worn a beige coat, ac-
cessories in green and brown and
corsage of bronze coloured or-
chids. They will reside on the
groom's farin RR 1, Seaforth.'-
The bride is a graduate of the
1959 class of the Victoria Hospital
School of Nursing, The groom at-
tended the Ontario Agricultural
College at Guelph. Guests were
present from Hensall, Brucefield,
Seaforth, Clinton, Blyth, Listowel,
t.ondon, Sarnia, Sydenham, Guel-
ph, Riclgetovvn and Quebec.

Group 3' will be in charge of the
June meeting and the roll call will
be answered by saying "Where we
want to go on our picnic."
The meeting closed with the
homemaker's prayer. Lunch was
-served by Mrs, Sytinclt arid her
group.
