Miss Grette Gould, medical
missionary to Formosa, home on
furlough, addressed over • 200
-members of the Woman's Mis-
sionary .Society and their special
guests at their annual birthday
party held. in Remain United
Church auditorium on April 29.
Miss Gauld based her thoughts on
Missions, ,and urged her listeners.
to keep mission money coming as
it is greatly needed. She conclud-
ed her talk by stating -that.- "if
we loved, God well enough, we
would live for his people."
Miss Gauld was born in For-
mosa, and has spent many years
there working among the Lepers,
received her education in a To-
ronto hospital, and with the ex-
ception of a few years spent in
Home Missions in. BonnYville,
Alta., during the last war, bias
. spent mast of her life in For-
mosa. She is the .daughter. of
Mrs., William Goad, Guelph. who
is .93. and the late Rev,. William
Gauld, natives-. of Kippen, and
missionaries in Formosa for many
years. •
The speaker was introduced by
Mrs. George Hess and•thanked by
Mrs. George Armstrong. •
