to Sunday.
FtL R. A. Simons who has been
in Portage la Prairie, Man., for
seven weeks completing a course
in jet flying, returned to his home
in the village, "Shangri La" on
Saturday.
Mr. and Mrs. Ronald Burt and
Janice; Mr, and Mrs. 'Howard
Btrt, JoAnne, Karen and Jeffrey,
London, were here for the Week-
end. Their mother, Mrs. L. M.
Burt, who was at her home here
for the Easter vacation returned
to London with them on, Sunday.

The regular monthly meeting of
the Woman's Association of Grace
United Church, was held at the
home of Mrs. Wilmer Riddell, in
charge of the president, Mrs. Tom
Sowerby. There were 17 ladies
present.
Scripture lesson was read by
Mrs. Allen Betties; the topic by
Mrs. T. Sowerby, and the Lord's
Prayer repeated in unison. Sec-
retary and treasurer's reports
were given and correspondence
read.
It was decided to give a $10 do-
nation to the Canadian Red Cross
Society and also to donate $100 to
the Board of Stewards of the
church.
Talent money articles were sup-
plied by Mrs. Julius Bauer and
Mrs: A. Bell. Mrs. Allen Betties
and Mrs. Alvin Betties to supply
them for the May meeting.
A most interesting film was
shown by the Canadian Cancer
Society and Miss McLeod was pre-
sent to lead a discuision on the
film.
A lovely lunch was served by the
hostess.

Organized April 14

A meeting to organize Zurich
441 Calf Club was held in tbe Zu-
rich Town Hall on Thursday,
April 14. Don Grieve, Clinton, re-
presenting the Department of Agri-
culture briefed members on the
rules and regulations of the club.
The election of officers was held
with the positions being held as
follows: Keith Rader, president;
Gerald Thiel, secretary, and Joan
Elliott, press repOrter.
Plans were made for the next
'meeting to be held' May 26.
Murray Gaunt from CKNX took
tome pictures of the officers. Two
of the leaders, Carl Willert and
Bert Klopp attended and a few
parents also.

turned to Goderich on Friday

in Montreal and visited Ottawa on
the way back; coming on Satur-
day to their home here after hav;,

Mrs. R. Kerr accompanied Mrs,
William Forrest, Seaforth, to De-
troit, on Monday of last week, to
visit her brother-in-law and sis-
ter, Mr. and Mrs. B. Burks, En-
route home on Saturday they
were met in Port Huron by their
husbands where they attended the
Geddes-Kerr wedding. Mrs. R,
Humphries and Carl who have
beers looking after Kerr's. Market
while her parents:. were on holiday,
returned to Port Stanley with. Mr.
.Humphries on Sunday, He joined
them here-On Saturday.
The Women's Auxiliary of Trin-
ity Church met at `The Hut" on
Thursday afternoon, with a .good
attendance. The president chose
the form of service suggested for
the United Thankoffering. Mrs.
E. A Featherston was at the pia-
no. The' opening hymn 665, "My
God I Thank Thee," followed by
the Litnay led by the rector, the
Rev. E. J. 13, Harrison. Mrs,
Fred Fraser read the Scripture,
St. John 17: 11-19.
Mrs. T. Castle react the minutes
of the last meeting, and Mrs. R.
Larson gave the financial state-
ment.
Miss Lucy R. Woods named
Mrs. Ernerson Heard, second vice-
president to represent her at the
annual Diocesan meeting in Lon-
don on Tuesday and Wednesday.
Mrs. R. J, Larson was appointed
a delegate' and Mrs. J. B. Higgins,
substitute.
Mrs. J. B. Higgins reviewed a
chapter of the study book.
The rector then led in the
Thank-offering service with indi-
vidual parts being taken by Mrs.
Percy Weston, and Mrs. J. M.
Stewart.
