A donation was voted to the Anglican Church in apprecia- tion of the use of their church schoolroom for the• meeting. Mrs. W. B. Cross conducted a quiz, "Take your choice." Mem- bers' on the panel were Mrs. Elgie, Mrs. Alice Joynt, Mrs. Walker Carlile, Mrs. Harry Horton, Mrs. George Hess; contestants were Mrs. George Armstrong, Mrs. N. E. Cook, Mrs. T. 3. Sherritt, Mrs. R. Y. McLaren, Mrs. ,R, M. Peck. Delegates appointed to attend the district annual at Elineville were Mrs. Beer, Mrs. Peck, Mrs. H. Horton, Mrs. Orr, Mrs. Clar- efice Reid. Institute pins •are on order for a number of the members. Mrs. Coates and Mrs. Hess sang a duet, "The Old Rugged Cross,' accompanist Miss Greta Laramie. A piano duet was played by Mrs. Ed. Munn and Mrs. Malcolm Dou- gall. Members are asked to speed up the two travelling baskets' to be returned to Mrs. Beer and Mrs. Peck. Mrs. Basil Edwards ex- pressed curtesy remarks. Mrs. Beer thanked the members for their splendid co-operation for the program. Conveners were Mrs. Coates• and Mrs. Cross. Hos- tesses Mrs. - N. E. Cook and Mrs. 0. Rapson. Present were nearly 20' girl friends of the bride-to-he and also some of the immediate relatives. The bride was ensconced in gala decorated chair with be-rib- boned parasol, streamers and bal- loons overhead: The lovely gifts were presented by Miss Thelma Dale and Mrs Middleton. Several games .and contests were enjoyed and prizes went to. 'Vire, Jack Merner, Miss .Judy Watkins and Mrs. Kenneth 'Wer- ner. - The hostess served a delicious lunch and a jolly time was spent. Miss LeBeau will become the bride of Gary Merner on Friday,/ April 29, in St. Joseph's Church, Clinton. Glazier's Mrs. Wilfred Colclough, presi- dent of the Past Mistresses Club of the Loyal Orange Benevolent Association, conducted the business meeting held at the home of Mrs. Wilfred Glazier, RR 3, Clinton. Miss Clara Harrison won the lucky draw. Winners at games were Miss Clara Harrison, Mrs. T. O'Cormell and Henry Sloman. The hostess served a delicious lunch. .The May meeting will be at the home of Mrs. Wilfred Colclough. Easter Hat Parade Features Meeting Of Friendship Club,. The last meeting of St, Patsies Friendship Club featured a parade of Easter hats, which were con- rooted from items in the kitchen, Clever fingers produced an alliaz, trig collection of hats, some of Which looked pod enough to eat. A committee of .judges was Xqr., reed from sonic of the members who did not .enterthe competition. The top winners 'were Mrs. Paul Pizikel, Mrs, J. W. Counter and Mrs. Elliott Bailiff, The next meeting will be held on Wednesday, May 4 in the Parish Hall, Films from the Cancer Soc, late' will be shown. Mrs. K. B. McRae will be the special speaker_ It is hoped that all the women of the congregation will accept the invitation of the club to be present. at this meeting.
