CORLESS. 15b Sunday Shooting At Alma Grove Consider' By-laws Town council en Monday night left with the police committee a request from Clinton Gun Club for permission to hold trapshoot- ing meets on Sunday, at Alma Grove. Councillor J. Douglas Thorn- dike, chairman of the police com- mittee commented that he did not favour of an all day shoot, but he would check on; by-laws concern- ing shooting of fire4itnnts in town before they made a decision, He said he believed the club was giv- en permission to shoot in ,town, when the club was .formed. Councillor George Rurnball no- ted that if the by-laws forbid it, then the proper action would be to change the by-law if it were considered necessary.
