The Woman's Association of
Wesley-Willis United Church held
a suecessful St. Patrick's bazaar
and tea on Saturday afternoon,
March 19 from 3 to 6 p.m.

the entrance to the lecture room,
The flowers decorating the room
was tastefully arranged under the
leadership of Mrs. William Munch.
The baking booth was conven-
ed by Mrs, Douglas Andrews and
Mrs. Koch. Mrs. C.- Nelson and
Mrs. F. Andrews convened, the
novelty and apron booth,
The Mission Band booth was
convened by Mrs, Lowe, assisted
by members( of the Mission Band
The tea room conveners were
Mrs. M. Steepe, Mrs. L. Ball, Mrs.
J, Nediger and Mrs. Manning.
Pouring tea at the charmingly
arranged table set with white
linen, tall green tapers and spring
flowers, were Mrs M. T. Corless,
Mrs. Laidlaw, Mrs. W. Nott, Mrs.
W. Clayton, Mrs. J. Lockhart and
Mrs. N. Shepherd.

Mrss Mabel Bleaner Beaudoin,
82, of 2242 Elsinere Ave,, Wind-
sor, died Monday, March 2S at
her home.
Born m Redlands, Calif.,. Mrs,
Beaudoin lived in Window far the
past 38 years reeving there from
Arnherstbarg, was a member
of St. Barnabas Anglican Chureb.
Her husband, Daniel, died in 1954,
Survivors include four sons, Al-

Clyde, Merle E,, all of Windsor;
two daughters, Mrs', Allan comm..

F.' Harold Morrell, 65, Ontario
Street, Clinton, died suddenly
Wednesday noon, March 23, at
Clinton Public Hospital.
He was born in Hullett Town-
ship, son of the late Mr% and Mrs.
Albert Morrell. Re farmed near
Clinton, retiring to town six years
ago, where he was a member of
Ontario Street United Church.
He married the former Marion
Eva Saville. Besides his wife, he
is survived by two sons, Fred and
Eldon, both of Toronto; two dau-
ghters, Mrs. Gordon (Isabelle)
Troyer, Hensall and Mrs. John
(Marion) Smith, Clinton.
Service from the Beattie fun-
eral home, 55 Rattenbury Street
East, by Rev, Grant Mills, Fri-
day afternoon and interment in
Clinton Cemetery.

Help To Local Lady
The Clintonlan Club met at the
home of Mrs. H. Managhan with
13 members present. The presi-
dent opened the meeting with

Mrs, Laura Ings was sent a
parcel of clothing, following the
fire at her home in which she
lost nearly everything.
It was decided to move the
meetings from the first Tuesday
to the third Tuesday of each
month and the April meeting to
be held at Mrs. Henry Simian's.

Service was .conducted in. the
Ball and Mutch funeral home, 153
High Street, Clinton on Friday
afternoon, March 25, by the Rev.
C. S. Inder, for Hubert Oswald
"Bert" Murphy, Who passed away
on Wednesday, March, 23, in St.
Joseph's Hospital, London, fol-
lowing an illness of two weeks,
Pall-bearers were Donald Glen,
George Cantelon, Robert Glen,
Harry Thompson, Sam Castle and
Stanley Jackson. Interment was
in Clinton Cemetery.
Born on June 7, 1872, in Gode-
rich Township, he was the son
of the late Henry Murphy and
Margaret Thompson. He married
Mary Richardson on October 15,
1912, and they farmed in Gode-
rich Township and Stanley Town-
ship, until retiring to their home
on Wellington Street in Clinton
in 1952. He was a member of
St. Paul's Anglican Church.
Surviving besides his wife are
two sons, Joseph, Clinton and
Thomas, Arva; two sisters, Mrs.
H. McCartney, Goderich Town-
ship and Mrs. J. E. Dayment, East
Stanwood, Washington and eight
grandchildren.
Attending the funeral were per-
sons from Toronto, Hamilton,
Goderich, West Branch, Mich.,
and Flint,. Mich., as well as the
local community.
