the home of Miss Marion Turner
and the other at Varna Town

WMS Meets
The Woman's Missionary Soc-
iety of Kippen United Church met
in the schoolroom on Thursday,
March 4, with. Groupthree in
charge. In the 'absence of the
president, Mrs. Harry Caldwell,
presided. She read from ProVerbs
15, and followed with prayer.
Mrs. Caldwell read a story of
"Patrick, the Stolen Saint." Mrs.
Ross Broadfoot gave 'the visitor's
report. Mrs. Russell Consitt and
Mrs. Harry Caldwell wereappein"
ted delegates to the Presbyterial
in Seaforth, on. March 24. Mrs.
Alex McMurtrie read the third
chapter from the study book on
Africa "Doorstep, Hearth and
Home."
An invitation to attend the
Easter Thankoffening at Egneend
vine church on April 6, wan ac-
cepted. Mrs. E. Jarrott gave a
poem, "God's Great Danger" and
read two thank you cards.
It was :decided to invite the
aongeegation to the Easter Thank-
offering meeting in April, when
the Rev. E. C. Winlaw, Hensall,
will be guest speaker.
The collection was taken by the
hostesses, Mrs. Conga and Mrs.
Morley Cooper. Mrs. Caldwell
thanked everyone that helped and
the meeting closed with a hymn,
prayer, and lunch.
