Mrs. Louise Westlake has return ed to Wyoming after visiting for some time with her daughter Mrs. Rd. Murphy. Miss Margaret Hospital training ited at her home Stunday afternoons. Armistice Day falls on Sunday, November 11th. The war veterans are planning a parade to the Trivitt Memorial church that Sunday. Mrs. Fred Hill, of Toronto, and Mrs. W. Prodger, of London, visited with Mr. and Mrs. J. Colwill over the week-end. Miss Florence Down, of Oshawa, and Miss Margaret Trothan, of Lon don, are- guests at the home of Rev. J. W. and Mrs. Down. Miss Ada Willis, of Turnerville, and Miss Marie Willis, of Western University, London, visited with their parents. Mr. and Mrs. J. Willis over the week-end. Mr. and Mrs. Albert Etherington, of Usborne, and Mrs. M. V. Ether ington, of Marlette', Mich., who is visiting with them, spent Sunday in Teeswater. Mr. John Kuntz, of Windsor, ac companied by Misses Dorothy, Mar guerite and Ella Kuntz, spent the week-end at the home of their par ents, Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Kuntz. Mr. Carlton Wells, of Academy, London, was Tuesday and has rented the Lee Block for the holding of a commercial night school one night a week, beginning about November 7th. He expects to be back later in the week to cpmplete arrange ments. Mr. and Mrs. II. Clark ami Mr. A. Clark, of Toronto; Mrs. D. Sweeney and Mr. and London; Mr. and family of Roy Venator Gladys Ward, day with Dr. Wards’ father and mother returned to London with them. Rev. J. W. ana Mrs. Down return ed Thursday after visiting their daughter, Mrs. A. McLaughlin, at the manse, Grafton, also friends and relatives in Port Hope. They spent Wednesday in Woodstock with Mr. Fred H. Down and family and at tended the "farewell” given by the First Baptist church, for Miss Edna Down, elect for India. Miss Down sails from Montreal Nov. 3rd, and expects to arrive in Bombay, India, about six weeks hence. Representatives from an overall manufacturing company were in Exeter recently interviewing Mr. S. M. Sanders and looking over the plant of th© S. M. Sanders Manufac turing Co., with a view to locating here. The men were favorably im pressed with the situation and con ditions here and it is to be hoped., that Exeter may secure this new in dustry.
