Welsh will be sorry to learn that she is not as well again, and a trained nurse is in attendance. The two daughters of Mr. Rich­ ard Robbins, of Tuckersmith, had their tonsils removed at Mrs. Pat­ terson's Hospital on Thursday last. Mr. W. N. Drummond and Mr. Leonard Drummond, of Toronto, visited over the week-end with their parents Mr. and Mrs. Thos. Drum­ mond. A lawn social was given to the Mission Band and Primary Class of Carmel Presbyterian church at the home of Miss Rena Hudson, Thurs­ day afternoon last. The’ afternoon was spent on games and contests. The winners in Mission Band work during the past year were Miss M. Sangster, Miss Mabel Workman and Eldred Smith, after which lunch was served. Mr. Shannon will be pleased to meet any of his old friends and acquaintances on the above dates. As pioneers they come to the town­ ship of Stephen in 18 62 and settled on the old homestead where she re­ sided until her death. She is the last survivor of the five brothers and their wives who settled on what is now known as the Mollard Line. Their happy home was blessed with five sons and four daughters of whom two sons and foui’ daughters survive, W. Abner, of Sarnia and Percy now residing on the home­ stead; Mrs. Wm.
