Being a farmer’s wife she touched on the tariff as it ef fects the farmers and the farm home, Mrs. Fallis who has been campaigning in South Bruce for this last few weeks for Foster Moffatt spoke of Mr. Moffatt’s victory there as a great tribute to the Ferguson government. Ben nett. a policy which >is bound to pre vail, if Canada is to attain her na tional status as a unit in the British Commonwealth of Nations, a policy that would give moderate protec tion to our industries against the strangling tactics of the large cap italistic concerns of the neighboring republic. We also indorse the incomparable records of the administration of Hon. Howard Ferguson,, the success of which has just been simply vin dicated by the sweeping Victorios in the by-election in South Bruce, Hamilton and North Renfrew. A vote of thanks was tendered speakers on motion of Wm. Con of Hensall, seconded by James Ford, of Clinton, jourued by King.
