Miss Gertrude Francis of Stephen Miss Dorothy Belling, of Greenway, attended the Belling-Franeis wed­ ding in Detroit, on Saturday. Rev. Geo. E. Morley, B. A., elo­ cutionist, of Toronto, spent Wed­ nesday in town the guest of Rev. J, AV. and Airs. Down. Quite a number from this district wore in Goderich Tuesday evening taking in the moonlight excursion on the Greyhound. Airs. AVm. Bagsliaw has been ser­ iously ill during the past week, but her many friends will be pleased to know that she is improving. • Air. Geo. Hind, who has been at­ tending Dental college in Toronto, has returned home for the summer. He is to be congratulated on pass­ ing his fourth year examinations. Air. and Airs. A, E. Ingram, of De­ troit, spent the week-end in Exeter. Airs.’ Ingram’s Hardy, who has Detroit, returned them. Air. and Airs. Rochester, N. Y„ and Airs. William week-end. Miss Julia Rivers, of Air. Rivers, accompanied them to Exeter and is remaining on a visit. Mr. and Al’rs. Fred Jones, of Pasadena, Calif., who made the long- trip by auto, visited with Airs. Walker, of town, and Air. and Airs. AV. J. Ford over the week-end. Air. and Airs. Jones were former resi­ dents of London. Thomas Williams, son of Air. and Airs. Wm. AVilliams of Collingwood, died on June 3rd. Lawson returned home last week from Toronto and is to be congratulated oh having completed his course at the Toronto Dental college with the degree of D.D.S. Dr. Lawson has not yet decided where he will locate and will pro­ bably.. spend the summer in town.
