lier wrist recently. Miss Cecelia

business was transacted, after which
three of the ladies served a dainty
lunch.
We are glad to note that Mr. and
Mrs. John Brock and Mr. Andrew
Anderson are able to be out again
after their recent illness.
Mr. Frank Colwill is in Toronto
this week on business.
Mr. and Mrs. Nelson Baker spent
Sunday last at Brussels.
Messrs. Smith and Dobbs deliver
ed a quantity of I. H. C.„ machines
recently to the different farmers in
this neighborhood.
•Seeding, operations will be about
completed this week in this vicinity,
the weather conditions having been ideal.
A car load of tobacco was shipped*
from this station last. week. ’ Many
of the farmers were dissappointeci
