Reeve Ballantyne occupied the chair with Councillors Skinner, Dew, Berry and Williams present. The minutes of the meeting held March 3rd were read and approved on motion of Berry-Dew. Communications; County Clerk Holeman’s letter re indigent persons permanently in hospitals stating that county and local municipality were jointly responsible for main­ tenance. Letter from S. W. Archi­ bald, C. E., accepting contract for Winchelsea drain award. By-Law order from Mun. Ry. Bd. re Thames Road Telephone System. Order from Ry. Bd. fixing time for moving Alberta coal, being April 15 to July 15. . Communication from tlxe Ontario Highway Department fixing amount of subsidy on Highway Expenditure • for 1927 as being $4030.21.
