Miss Ruby Wood, of Clinton, was a guest of her sister Mrs. O. S. Win­ er over the week-end. Mr. Thos. Appleton returned home Friday after a pleasant two weeks’ visit in Detroit and Windsor. Mrs. T. Collingwood is visiting for a few days with her daughter, Mrs. Roy Alderson, at Greenway. Mr. G. J. Dow shipped a carload of horses to the Dominion Transport Co., of Toronto, on Tuesday. Mr. and Mrs. Jos. Follick and daughter, Pauline, of Hamilton, are visiting with relatives in town. Mr. C. H. Sanders, who is ill in Victoria hospital London, has shown splendid improvement during - the past week. Edmund J. Wethey, Jr., sub. of Mr E. J. Wethey, of town, was confirm­ ed on Sunday last >at St. Marks church, London. Mrs. Gordon Wells and daughter Caroline, have returned to Windsor after visiting with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. A. S. Davis. Mr. P. G. Gillies and daughter, Maxine, of Detroit, spent the week-, end visiting the formeifs parents, Mr. and Mrs. Robt. Gillies. Mr, Cecil Atwood has been in town for several days storing his furniture. He and Mrs. Atwood are leaving for Ottawa where he has se­ cured a position as surveyor.
