T. S. WOODS, Manager
People often wonder how it is that
almost in every home they visit in
any part of the Dominion they will
find The Family Herald and Weekly
Star of Montreal is the favorite
paper of the household. „ But when
one thinks of the make-up of that
great publication at the- extremely
low price of one dollar a year, it
ceases to be a wonder. The Family
Herald and Weekly Star is undoubt
edly Canada’s favorite and Can
adians are justly proud of it. It is
a wonderful combination—newspaper
agricultural journal, and family mag
azine—all three in one, at a cost of
two cents per week. Our readers
can make no mistake by giving it a
trial.

WINS O.T.A. APPEAL __~~
In a judgment delivered recently
by Judge Lewis of Goderich, an O.
T.A. conviction against Bruce Bos-
senberry, proprietor of the. Imperial
Hotel, Grand Bend, is quashed. Mr.
Bossenberry was convicted by Mag
istrate Reed of Goderich on a
charge of keeping liquor for sale in
his hotel, and was fined $200 and
costs amounting to over $80. He
was arrested following a raid on his
hotel when small quantities of liquor
were found in the pantry and the
stairway leading to the top portion
of the hotel. At the trial he denied
all knowledge of the presence of the
liquor.
