The question is, can’t we (pedestrian and motorist alike)
do something to avoid accidents ?
Traffic on streets and;- highways isn’t

THRIVES ENTER STORE
Thieves paid Hensail a week-end
visit and cleaned out the silk stock
of Mr, J. W. Skinner's store, valu
ed at over $500. The robbery was
discovered Monday morning when
Mr. Skinner opened for business.
Every piece of silk had been taken
from the shelves. Mr. Skinner al
ways had a large suppls of the finest
silks on hand- Entry had apparant-
ly been forced through the front
door. The rear and basement doors
Jiad been bolted from the inside and
the windows had not been tamper
ed with. * The thieves succeeded in
transporting their valuable loot out
of Hensail without detection and
few- if any, clues remain as to the
identity of the burglars. It is be
lieved, however, that the job was
the work of more than one person.
The theft also indicated a previous
knowledge of the stock of silks
kept in the store. Provincial Con
stable Wlfitesides, of Goderich, has
been called in on the case and is
conducting an investigation.

Chevrolet of
seven years ago
with the Chevrolet of today and realize
how radically Chevrolet has revised all
conceptions of. motor car value.
In 1920, the Chevrolet illustrated here
represented the highest standards of
quality and value ... at a price of $1795
(f.o.b. Oshawa) . . . over a thousand dol
lars more than you pay today for a Chev
rolet that possesses style, luxury and re
finement unthought-of in any car a few
years ago.
‘ In following its fundamental policy of constant
improvement, Chevrolet has built up a produc

in the world. And Chevrolet has shared the sav
