Leslie Elder of First resbyterian Church, Seaforth, on today, September 19, from the A. Whitney funeral home. Mr, Tebbutt was formerly of oderich Township and farmed ere before moving to Seaforth 1945. He had been in poor alth for the paSt three months. 114al was in Clinton Cemetery. Mr, Edwards retired to Hensall 'orn his near-by Hay Township 14 years ago, Married to Liss Minty McGregor in 1917, e predeceased him in 1940. In 42 he married Miss Emily Mor- on, who survives him, Mr. Edwards was a member of arrnel Presbyterian Church, ensall, and the funeral, Septem- er 21, from Bonthron funeral ome, was conducted by the Rev. ,eorge Vais. Mrs. Herbert Kirkby, formerly Nancy Jane McMichael, a resident of Walton district for manY yearS, died Thursday, September 10, in Wingham Genes al Hospital where she had been a patient since June. She was 78 years of age. Mrs. Kirkby was a daughter of the late Thomas IVIelVliehael and his wife, the former Christine Fischer, Following her marriage to Herbert Kirkby, who survives, they farmed on concession 7, Mor- ris Township, before moving to Walton, Surviving besides her husband are four sons, George, Burwash; Lewis, London; Thomas, Brussels and Frank, Walton, There are 12 grandchildren; also two sisters, Mrs. Milton WiltSe, Clinton, and Mrs. Harry Harford, London, Service was' from the Bann fun- eral home, Brussels, to Duff's United Church, Walton, where service was conducted Saturday afternoon by Rev. Meurig Thomas. Burial was in Brussels. Cemetery. Mrs. Kirkby, who was a native of Hallett Township, was active in the women's organizations of Duff's United Church, and was an officer for a number of years of Huron Presbyterial of the WMS. The church choir assisted in the service, "Hold Thou My Hand" was sung with Don MacDonald as soloist. Pallbearers were four grandsons, Murray, Herbert, Doug- las and J. Kirkby; Tom Johnston and George MacArthur. Flower- bearers were four granddaughters, Dianne, Bobby, Patsy and Mary Lou Kirkby. Friends and relatives from a distance who attended the funeral were from London, Goderich, Burwash and Toronto. Mrs, Patricia Reynolds Mrs, Patricia Catherine Reynolds died in Alexandra 'Hospital, -Gede- rich, on Saturday, September 12, in, her 93rd year, She was a daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Felix Hanlon and was born at Clinton, Her husband, Dominic Reynolds, died in 1934. Prior to going to live with her daughter at Kingsbridge, .she had resided .at New Lislteard for a number of years, She was a mem- ber of the Roman Catholic Church. Besides her daughter, Mrs. Ray Dalton, Kingsbridge, she is, sur- vived by another daughter, Mrs. Mary Simms, Toronto, and four sons, Edmund and Basil Reynolds, both of Sault Narrows, Ont., C. ReynoldS and Fergus Reynolds, both of Sudbury. There are also 25 grandchildren and 21 great- grandchildren, Rev. Father Van Vynckt sang Requiem High Mass on Wednes- day morning at St. Joseph's Ch-' urch, Kingsbridge, and interment was in the St. Joseph's Cemetery. Miss Adelia Doan Miss Adelia Doan died in Olin. ton Public. Hospital on Tuesday September 22, in her 100th year, She 1-ia,d been a patient there for four years, Born'in Clinton, she was a dau. ghter of the late Oran and Eliza 1:103.0„ and had resided in this dis- trict All her life. She was a mem- ber of St. Paul's Anglican Church, There are no survivors, Miss Doan was a charter mem- ber of both the Woman's Auxil- iary and the Anglican Guild. She came from a family of seven, all now deceased, Eleanor, Emma and Mary were the sisters. One brother Sylvester died in man- hood, and two brothers died in infancy. Service was from the Ball and :Kutch funeral home, 153 High Street, Clinton, by the Rev, C. S. inder, on Thursday afternoon, September 24, Interment was in Clinton Cemetery, Pall-bearers were C. Cook, Gor- don Herman, William Counter, J, Silcock, E. Nickle and Bruce Bartliff. Dr, H, A. Hession A native of Clinton, Dr; Henry Arthur Hessian, 77, flied sudden- ly at his home, 1030 Dovercourt Rd., Toronto, on Friday. He had practised in the eity. for 40 years. Dr. Hessian received his early education in Wingham and .Clin-• ton. He leaves his wife, the form- er Vera Beatrice Schadel; his sons, Barry and, Douglas; his .daughter,. Mrs. Murray EZarfl,_ all of Toronto; also two sisters, Mrs, Norma Griffin and Mrs. Eva. Mc. 13ryen, both of Toronto; a broth- er, John Hessian, Clearwater, Fin.; and four grandsons, David, Glen, Brian and Wayne, One son, Arthur, predeceased him.
