This was the first loss of the season for the local PeeWees. Clinton wen the first game of the best-of-three series by a 5-1 score in Clinton on Saturday, September 11. John Cooper was the pitcher for Clinton and allowed Bradford sev- en hits, He walked only three men while striking out five. Coop- er also had three of his team's four hits and scored the only run of the game for Clinton, Bob Pearson jhad the other hit for the locals.
