George McGee, with his father, Ernest McGee, Goderich Township, have returned from a two weeks' tour of four of Canada's Western provinces. Mrs. Emma McNeil and Mrs. Margaret Drysdale, Stettler, Alta., are visiting with Edward Gibson and Miss Beatrice for a couple of days. Mrs. May McElroy, Mary Street and Mrs. Mary Brown, Seaforth, spent Friday afternoon with the former's cousin, Mr. and Mrs. Mel Martin, Goderich. Mr, and Mrs. Clifford H. Epps, who have been busy judging flow- er shows, will do both Brussels and Stratford shows on Saturday. The Southampton and Walkerton shows are being judged by the couple next week. Mr. and Mrs. W. .7, Appleby and Mr. and Mrs. J. Lenhardt, Toronto, visited over the Civic Holiday weekend at the home of Misses Lottie and Bessie Simian. They were quite pleased with the town and countryside on this, their first visit. Marguerite Lyon, daughter of Mrs. J. E. Lyon, Londesboro, will teach in Kitchener this September. She attended SS 8 Hullett Town- I. ship and Clinton District Collegi- ate Institute before attending Stratford Teachers' College.
