As bridesmaid, Miss Iona Grif- fith, Stouffville, wore an identical styled dress of white embroidered nylon over taffeta and carried a gathering basket of white shasta 'mums intermingled with coral rose tulle. Misses Cathy and Mary Lou Mc- Kinley, Zurich, nieces of the groom, were pretty flower girls wearing identical styled dresses of white nylon with embroidered rosebuds of pink and yellow res- pectively. They carried nosegays of white shasta 'mums intermingled with aqua and coral rose tulle. Gordon Johns, brother of the groom, was groomsman. The ush- ers were George Turner, Seaforth, and Harry Lear, Blyth, brother-in- law of the bride, The wedding music was played by the bride's sister, Mrs. Harry Lear, Blyth, Ontario. The soloist, Miss Mary Dymond, Trenton, sang "All Joy Be Thine" and "0 Perfect Love." For the reception held in the church parlours, the bride's mother received in a dress of blue em- briodered Swiss organza with pink accessories and a corsage of pink carnations. The gr000m's mother assisted in a dress of blue figur- ed crepe, with white accessories and a corsage of white carnations. For the wedding trip, the bride donned a cream-toned suit dress with orange ice accessories and a corsage of Talisman roses. Mr. and Mrs, Husband had motored from London Friday evening as Usual, to spend the weekend. Mrs. Husband, awakened to hear her husband's laboured breathing, rushed next door to the cottage of Mr. arid Mrs. Leslie Ball. Mr. Ball came to the farm house and Dr. Addison was called from Clin- ton. Mr. and Mrs, Cecil Merkley with Mr, and Mrs. Robert Hall, Wing- ham, made an early morning trip from Wingham to be with Mrs. Husband, Mr. Merkley's sister, Bennett and Pineombe funeral home, London, have charge of the funeral arrangements, Interment in Forest Lawn Cemetery, London. Mr. and Mrs. James Barnes have had their son, Fred Barnes, Mrs, Barnes and grandson Leigh, Green Bay, Wis., with them for the past ten days, Mr. and Mrs. Abe Thomas, Mary Ann and Elizabeth, Chatham, also were with them on Sunday, corn- ing so that Mrs. Thomas could visit with her brother, Mr. Fred Barnes. Mr. and Mrs, Gordon Beutten- miller, Mr, and Mrs. Phil Hoet- bohmer and Mr. and Mrs. Bert Comley, all of Stratford spent the weekend at their respective cot- tages for the weekend. Manning, Londesboro, to Stanley Edwin Johns, son of Mr. and Mrs. Howard Johns, Seaforth. Rev. J. T. White performed the double-ring ceremony, on Satur- day afternoon, June 13. Given in marriage by her father, the bride wore a floor-length gown of French illusion lace styled with long lily-point sleyes and a bateau neckline accented with fine lattice work studded with iridescent se- quins and seed pearls. The skirt was nylon net with an apron of French illusion lace.
