Mr. Tebbutt has been attending the University this past year taking Fourth Year Mechanical Engineering. Mr. Tebbutt graduated from Clinton District Collegiate Insti- tute in 1954, and from Ontario Agricultural College, Guelph in 1958, with his Bachelor of Sc- ience of Agriculture degree. He has accepted a position with the John Deere Co. of Welland, Ont- ario. E, 11, McLean, Toronto, represent- ative from the Ontario Council of Christian Education, His theme was "What Kind of a Verdict?" He suggested that the teachers get the children to come to their own conclusions. He also spoke on the necessity of religious education in the public schools, The evening worship service was conducted by three members of the Auburn Presbyterian C h u r c h Young People: Betty and Ross Youngblut and Edgar LeatherIand. The Ontario Street United Church orchestra presented two selections. Miss Rena Fennell, Seaforth, gave an illustrated talk on her trip to the Tokyo World Sunday School Convention last August, when 62 nations were represented. Pictures included views of Korea, where Miss Fennell visited follow- ing the convention. Scrimgeonr, Blyth and Mrs. Franc-is Powell, o OBITUARIES Charles Melvin Cole Word was received last week of the sudden death of Charles Mel- vin Cole, Calgary, Alta., in his 56th year, He was the youngest son of the late Thomas Cole, Clinton, He had been living in Calgary for the past six years, Surviving are one daughter Gladys (Mrs. Andy Anderson), Dashwood, and one son Tommy, al- so three grandchildren, Deceased was a brother of Mrs, Henry Glew, Hullett; Mrs. Violet MacDonald, Goderich, and Mrs, Leo Gorzenski, Flushing, Mich., Leonard and Frank Cole, Goderieh, and Oliver, Goderich Township. Summer Just a Few Specials Now on Display Mrs. N. LeBeau Requiem High Mass was sung in St. Joseph's Roman Catholic Church, James Street, Clinton, on Saturday morning, May 30, by the Rev. L. E. Reed-Lewis, for Mrs. Napoleon Lebeau, who passed away in Clinton Public Hospital, on Thursday morning, May 28. Pall-bearers were A. Garon, L, Denomme, F. Anderson, Clement Reynolds, T. Flynn and J. VanNin- buys. Interment was in Clinton Cemetery. Born on March 4, 1880, in Ger- many, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Chris Gese, she married Na- poleon LeBeau on May 6, 1902. She lived in Chicago for a time, and had been a resident of the Clinton area for the past 50 years. • Mrs. LeBeau was a life member of the Catholic Women's League of St. Joseph's Roman Catholic Church, and an active member of the London Road Club. Her death followed a stroke she suffered about eight weeks ago, Mr. LeBeau pre-deceased her in March 1928. Surviving are six sons, Lester and Arthur in Cali- fornia; Max, Clarence, Fred and Elmer, at home; one daughter, Omerine, Mrs. William Watkins, Clinton, and 14 grandchildren, Mrs. LeBeaii was the last surviv- ing member of her immediate Attending the funeral from a distance were Mrs. Frank Brant, Mount Forest; Mr. and Mrs. Leon- ce Cadieux, Windsor. The two sons from California had just re- turned to their homes after visit- ing here with their mother. 0 Among the 25 nurses graduating from the Kitchener-Waterloo Hos- pital School of Nursing, on Satur- day were three girls from Huron County.
