A new dealership arrangement
has been signed between Raymond
Hoggarth, service station operator,
and 13. Gobderich Limited for
sale of tires in the Clinton area.
The announcement was made to-
day by W. H. Snider, district TIM-
ager of the tire division of 13, F,
Goodrich at London. He said that
Mr. 1-loggarth would be equipped
to handle sales and service of tires
and tubes, The local station will
have available consumer tire safe-
ty literature and tire service data,
In connection with the .annotin-
conient Mr. Snider indicated that
a cooperative advertising arrange-
merit would be in effect' with Mr.
Hoggarth and the .Clinton News-

arles F. Rogers, Hamilton and

A brilliant student, at matricul-
ation from St. Clement's School,
she won a scholarship to Trinity
College, In her fourth year _at
Trinity she received the students
council award for her extra cur-
ricular activities. She spent the
summer term in 1957 at ,Oxford
University, England.
Her fiance, a graduate of the
University of Glasgow, did post
graduate work in Chemical Engin-
eering at the University of Toron-
to, receiving the degree of Doctor
of Philosophy this year. He has
taken a post with the Gulf Oil
Company in Pittsburg, Pa.

Miss Georgene McCartney, nurse-
in-training, Stratford, spent the
weekend with her parents, Mr, and
Mrs. Wilson McCartney,
Mrs. W. Stackhouse, Mr. and
Mrs. Mac Wilson, were guests of
Mr. and Mrs. Bert McKay, Lon-
don, on Sunday.

sail, were weekend, visitors with
