lands over the weekend were, Mrs.

Dr. and Mrs. J. G. Griffin, Mr.

stayed at Wildwood Motel while
here for the long weekend.

ter having visited his mother,

Dennis, Goderich, viisted on Sun-
day and Monday with her brother,

weekend. Mrs. Nelson McConkey

turned to Detroit on Monday, af-
ter having been at their cottage

to visit L. H, D. McLeod in West-
minster Hospital, Mrs. George
Hopson accompanied them to visit
her husband, who underwent sur-
gery` there last week.

completed her second year of stud-
ies at Huron College, London, is
with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. 3.
E. Howard for the vacation. Flor-
ence E. Spotesbury-Leefen, who
was her guest for a week, return-
ed to Huron College on Sunday.
Mr. and Mrs. Stephen Carr,Shar-
on and Allan, Toronto; Mr. and
Mrs. Richard Hyndman, Burke's
Falls, were the guests of F/L and
Mrs. R. A. Simcus, "Shangri-La,"
over the weekend. Mrs. S. Carr
accompanied her son and family
on their return to Toronto, where
she will visit.

BAYFIELD CALF CLUB
JUDGE DAIRY COWS
The Bayfield 4-H Dairy Calf
Club met at Ted Dunn's home,
four miles south of Bayfield. Bob
Grigg led in the 4-H pledge repeat-
• ed in unison. Barbara Yeo called
the roll and 22 members answered.
She read the-minutes of the last
meeting. Doug. Mills and Donald
Lobb showed slides on how to
judge dairy cattle and beef. Ted
Dunn pointed out the parts of a
dairy cow for the new club mem-
bers.
Our club members judged a
class of 'dairy cows. Lunch was
served. James Higgins, Toronto, was
home over the long weekend.
Mrs. J. Cairncross and family,
London, spent the holiday at their
cottage.
Miss Jessie L. Metcalf, Detroit,
was at her home here from Thurs-
day to Saturday.
Mr. and Mrs. R. C. Moore, De-
troit, spent the weekend at their
cottage "Fairlawn,"
Prof. and Mrs. H. K. Kalbfleisch,
London, occupied their cottage for
the holiday weekend.
Mr. and Mrs. Gordon Phaff, and
Mark, Windsor, occupied their cot-
tage for ;the weekend.
Dr. and Mrs. Stanley Heard, Ro-
bin and Joey, London, were at
their cottage on Monday.
Mr. and Mrs. E. W. Oddleifson,
London, are spending, this week at
their home on Main Street.
Eric . Cleave left last week for
North Bay where he is assistant
pastor of a Baptist Church.

London, were at their cottage on
Bayfield Terrace on Monday.
