(By our Auburn correspondent)
On Saturday, April 25, Blyth
United Church was the setting for
a quiet pretty wedding when
Gwendolyn Gail, daughter of Mr,
and •Mrs. John Campbell, Blyth,
was united in marriage in a double-
ring ceremony to Kenneth Nelson,
son of Mr. and Mrs. Nelson Pat-
terson, Auburn, by the Rev. Evan
McLagan,
The bride was lovely in a baller-
ina-length dress of white lace and
net over satin. The bodice of lace
featured a' bateau neckline, accen-
ted with sequins and hal lily-
point sleeves. A crown of seed
pearls held her finger-tip veil of
French illusion, and she carried a
White Bible on which rested a
mauve orchid.
The bride's only attendent was
her sister-in-law, Mrs. Harold
Campbell, also of Blyth, wearing
a ballerina-length gown of pink
lace over taffeta with matching
crescent headdress. She carried a
bouquet of aqua carnations.
William Patterson, Auburn, was
groomsman for his brother.
Following the wedding, a recep-
tion was held at the Tiger Dunlop
Inn. For the wedding trip to the
United States and Eastern Ontar-
io, the bride chose a honey beige
suit with black accessories. On
their return they will reside on a
farm at Auburn. Guests were
present from Toronto, Hamilton,
and Auburn. • -

A clothesline ties you down to weather-watching. But an
automatic electric clothes dryer has its own "indoor sun-
shine." It frees you from the drudgery of lugging heavy
baskets of wet wash to the line—it dries your clothes the
way you want them—damp-dry for ironing, or completely
dry for folding away—and it does all this automatically
for less than five cents! There's a treat in store for you the
first time, and every time, you use an automatic electric
clothes dryer,
