(Word received in the township g yesterday from the Hon. W. K. Warrender, Min- ister of Municipal Affairs, was that the government had approved the new grant system, which- means that $200,000 Will be the figure, probably). The township also will send' ap- proval to the town of Clinton for the issuance of the debentures to raise the money for the new addi- tion. Mr. and Mrs, Kenneth ' Arm- strong and baby son, Stratford, spent a few days last week with his parents. The snow storm on Saturday with poor visibility caused serious damage to a truck owned by Tom Allen when it collided with the County snowplow south of Con- stance. Mr. and Mrs. Norman Shepherd, Clinton, along with a few guests from the village„ spent Thursday evening with Mr!and Mrs. Charles Small. It was Mrs. Small's birth- day.
