Minister To Exeter
The congregations of Exeter
churches must have a strong at-
traction to the Auburn ministers
as Dr. R, S. Hiltz is the third one
to leave this district for the town
of Exeter.
After two and a half years as
minister of Knox United Church,
he accepted the call to Main St-
reet Church and moved the first
of the year to take up his duties
there,
The first clergyman to leave and
go to Exeter after three year's
service at Knox United, was one
of Hullett's native sons, Rev. Har-
old J. Snell, present minister of
James Street United Church, Ex-
eter. The second to accept a call
was Rev. Eren de Vries last May
to Trivitt Memorial Church after
being rector of St. Mark's Angli-
can Church here for three and a
half years,
The people of • this community
are sorry to see these pastors
leave but Auburn's loss is Exet-
er's gain.
Reason tells you...
electricity is for you
YOU KNOW
THE PIG'S TAIL KNOWS I
If there is one thing that is typical of healthy, thrifty hogs, and has been ever since
pigs first grew 'em — it's a curly tail. Long before veterinary medicine, reached
today's advanced state, the "curl" was a reliable symptom of the state of a hog's
health. And it's no joke, even today — the pig's tail still- accurately reflects the well
being of that part of the pig in front of it.
STRESS CONDTIONS encountered by young hogs, particularly those being handled
through sales barns as more and more are, are brought about by shipping and re-
shipping, loading and unloading, chilling, change of quarters and exposure to dis-
ease. Serious set-backs can, and often do, result. Losses caused by stress, in the
hogs going off feed, are big losses that are sustained by the feeder. Quite possibly,
that feeder is you.
SHUR-GAIN PIG TAIL-CURLER
. is the fast, money saving solution for the progressive hog feeder. It's designed to
solve, not only the problems often encountered with sale barn pigs, but also to ensure
that pigs of your own breeding get off to a fast, never-look-back start.
You know electricity is safe, clean, modern!
Safe . . What a marvellous feeling to know electricity is
dependable, worry-free!
Clean . . just see how bright your kitchen walls and
curtains stay when you cook electrically . no blackened
pots and pans, either !
Modern . . • electricity brings the. modern convenience of
automatic controls to lighten your work, brighten your
day.
Safe . . . clean . modern . • three little words become
three big reasons why today, more than ever before, you
get more out of life when you get the most out of electricity.
