Kippen Gun Club
John Anderson, Hensall, won
the Labatt 50 -bird handicap tro-
phy, Sunday at the Kippen Gun
Club with 41. The winner of this
trophy also •receives half of the
entry money,
Trailing by three targets in
runnerup spot was Earl Doucette,
Clinton. Five shooters tied for
third position, one point back:
Harry Mathers, Exeter; Chester
Lee, Hensall; Norman Harburn,
Cromarty; Ashley Gilbert, Gode-
rich and Bill Kyle, Kippen.
Winners of the two-man Carl-
ings Team trophy were Norm
Harburn, Cromarty and Jack Gil-
bert, Goderich with 41.
Two teams tied for second with
40. Charles Brandon, Clinton and
Bill Kyle, Kippen; Harry Math-
ers and John Anderson.
The team winning this trophy
also receives half of the entry

Holstein Club Lays
Out 1959 Program
The Huron County Holstein
Club has scheduled its annual bred
heifer sale in Clinton, October 5.
The club's annual barn meet-
ing was set for March 9 at the
farm of Howard Feagan and Son,
RR 5, Goderich.

nual bus tour May 29 with Ed
Bell, Blyth; Simon Hallahan, Bel -
grave; Alvin Bettles, Bayfield and
Douglas Miles, Huron County ag-
ricultural representative in char-
ge; the annual twilight meeting,
June 8, at the home of the presi-
dent, Peter Simpson, Seaforth;
the annual banquet, October 21 at
Blyth, and the annual meeting,
November 9 in Clinton,

rector of the Huron County Fed-
eration of Agriculture with Wil-
liam Hough, Clinton, alternate.
