The afternoon session opened
with devotions by Goderich Arth-
ur ;Miele based on Jesus' great
commandment "Lave One Anoth-
er", stressing that "we must be
aware of another's need and lose
,ourselves in service to others".

Formosa and Wetly India, count-

An "In Memoriam service was
conducted by Mrs, A. Taylor, pay-
ing tribute to those who have been
called to a higher service in the
year past. Mrs. 'William Brown,
Hensall, sang a solo "Come 'Ye
Blessed" and a skit "All That We
Have" was presented by members
of the Seatorth Barbara Kirkman
Auxiliary.
Miss Mary E. Whale, on the
National Staff of the Wornenis
Missionary ;Society of the Pr'esibiY-
terian 'Church in Canada as Dir-
ector of Overseas Missions, was
the guest speaker at the annual
fall rally of Huron Presbyterial.
In ;Carmel Church, .Hensall, auxil-
iaries represented were from Aub-
urn, Beigrave, )3Iyth, Bayfield,
Henson, Clinton, Goderich and
Seafarth.
Mrs. J. F. Scott, presbyterial
preslident, conducted morning and
!afternabn sessions and those pre-
sent were welcomed' to Carmel
Church by Mrs. S. Dougall. presi-
dent ,of Hensall Senior WMS. The
devotions in the morning were
conducted by Blyth Auxiliary, In
the meditations, avErs. W. Short-
reed asked that Gad be taken
into "all our beginnings and that
we .strive only to make such, plans
as will meet His approval and be
clone to His honor and .gleny."
Miss A. Toll, Auburn, led in pray-

on the theme of the rally which
was "Joy in Believing". "In an
age Of defeatism and despair we
should ring the note of joy. The

orian, Mrs. A. Taylor, in her re-
