Appoint 4-H Leaders
The Clinton Women's Institute
met in the Agricultural Office
Board Room for the September
meeting, with the president Mrs.
M. Batkin in charge. Roll Call
was well responded to, with mem-
bers telling of the popular songs
when they were 'teen-agers.
Mrs. T. O'Connell gave the topic
on Health, and also gave a dem-
onstration on the making of tea
biscuits. The quilt blocks were
on display, Mrs. M, Batkin, Mrs.
W, Ross, were put on the quilt
committee.
Mrs. H. Managhan and Mrs,
Ronald MacDonald were appointed
leaders for the 4-H Club project
"The Cereal Shelf".

Paul Bennett, teller at the Clin-
ton Branch, Royal Bank of Can-
ada, has been transferred, and left
last Thursday to take up duties as
assistant accountant in a branch
of the bank at Brantford. Paul
was a member , of the Kinsmen
Club of Clinton, and bulletin edit-
or of that club.

The monthly meeting of the
Protestant Chapel Guild was held
on September 11 in the Chapel
annex at Adastrat Park. These
was a good turn out of members
and a busy schedule is planned
for the earning term, A new ex-
ecutive committee was elected at
which F/L the Rev. C. McLaren
Christians gathered in the name
of the Lord Jesus Christ (Matt.
18: 20) meeting in the above hall
invite you to come and hear the
Gospel, the old, old story of Jesus
and His Love.
