Mr. and Mrs. William James Ian McAllister were married
in Dunsford United Church. The bride is Shirley Doreen, daught-
er of Mr. and Mrs. Roy E. Patterson, RR 3, Lindsay, and the
home economist for Huron County. The groom is the son of
James McAllister, RR 1, Zurich and the late Mrs. McAllister,
He was formerly agricultural representative for the county of
Kent. The young couple will live on the groom's farm, RR 1,
Zurich.
Wedding at Auburn
Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd William Aubin, were married in St.
Michael's Roman Catholic Church, Blyth, by the Rev. F. E.
Reed-Lewis. The bride is Mary Louise Hallahan, daughter of
Mr. and Mrs. Dan Hallahan, RR 3, Blyth, and her husband is
the son of Mr. and Mrs. Alex Aubin, Clinton (formerly of Bruce-
field). The young couple will live in Goderich.

Mr. and Mrs. Clifford Proctor
returned last week from a very
enjoyable motor trip to. the Atlant-
lc Coast and 'through the mount-
ain4ous regions of Massachusetts,
New Hampshire and Vermont.
London Road Club
Sees Film Shown
At Regular Meeting
The' September meeting of the
London Road Club was held at
the 'home of Mrs. William Manag-
han. Mrs. Magee presided in the
albsence of the president, Mrs. F.
Anderson, Sr. Roll 'call was an-
swered by each. one present tell-
ing their favourite pickle recipe,
The collection for the Flower
Fund amounted to $1.61. Mrs.
N. Manning had charge of the
program consisting of a reading
and a contest won by Mrs. Magee
and Mrs. Sturdy. A film on "Sa-
lado Tea" shown by Kenneth Ma-
gee was enjoyed very much by all.
A delicious lunch was served by
Mrs. Managhan and Mrs. Bennet.
The October meeting will be at
the home of Mrs. H. Y. Plomsteel,
roll call "A Famous Woman", pro-
gram, Mrs, Collins; hostesses',
Mrs. Harry Plumsteel and Mrs,
Harry Sturdy.

Clintonians Charter
Bus to Western Fair
The Clintonian Club held its
reguiliax meeting at the 'home of
Mrs. Ross Merrill on Wednesday,
,September 10 .with a large attend-
ance.
It was planned to charter a bus
to Western Fair the next day, ,as
many of the members were want-
ing to go.
Di'scussion was held about fall
wank but nothing definite planned.
E'ucbre and Chinese checkers were'
enjoyed, followed by lunch, bring,-
ing to an end a pleasant after-
noon.
Mrs. Ronald MacDonald kindly
offered her home for the' October
meeting, hoping all members will
co-operate. Mrs. Hartley Man'ag-
han won the mystery prize.
