Here, three Commission employ- ees, Edelayne Brandt, Hilde Yebleis and Sheila Parker, are seen with just a small fraction of one mail delivery from all parts of the pro- vince. In order to have benefits effective when the Plan begins on January 1, groups must register before August 31 and individuals be- fore September 30. Happy Workers Club Begins Autumn Season The August meeting of the Hap- py Workers Club was held at the home of Mrs. Joseph. Gibson in the evening of August 15. The- meeting opened by singing "The Old Rugged Cross" followed by The Lord's Prayer. The roll call was, answered with a holiday wish. There were eight members, two visitors and three children pres- ent. It was decided to make a quilt for a bale in the fall. Each mem- ber is asked to take a crazy quilt block 18 X 20 inches to the next meeting. As advance notice, roll call for October wilt be an apron for the bazaar. The lucky ticket was held by Mrs, Elmer Dale, Next meeting will be in the evening, September • 11, at the home of Mrs. Roger Hoormaart. Roll call wlill be a penny for every day you left home since the Aug- ust meeting. Lunch will be pot luck. Several games of bingo were enjoyed (by all, Lunch was served by the hostess assisted by Mrs. Elgin Dale and Mrs. Elmer Dale.
