Mix these ingredients all together. Mrs. Leslie Bolt Belgrave CRANBERRY PIE 1 cup raisins Vi cup water 1 cup sugar 1 tbsp, flour 3 cups cranberries 1 tsp. vanilla Vi tsp. almond flavouring 1 tbsp, butter Bring raisins and water to boil. Stir in sugar and flour and cook1 until thickened. Add cranberries and cooik until skins pop. Cool and add flavourings. Put in pastry lined plate and dot with butter. OIL PASTRY Mix in pie plate: ■ 2 cup pastry flour 2 tbsp, sugar 1 tsp. salt VS cup oil 4 tbsp, milk Remove a little less than half. Press remainder on sides and bottom of plates. Put in filling and crumble reserved mixture on top. Cook 375 degrees about 30 minutes. Mrs. Robt. Grasby CRANBERRY CRUNCH PIE 40 -42 (Vi pound) marshmallows 1 cup undiluted Carnation milk Vi cup ground fresh cranberries 1 tbsp, grated orange rind 1 tbsp, lemon juice 9 inch crumb crust Place marshmallows and Vi cup of Carnation milk in top of double boiler over hot water. Heat until marshmallows melt. Chill until thick and syrupy. Stir occasionally. Drain excess juice from cranberries. Fold cranberries and orange rind into marsnmallows. Chill till mixture almost holds shape when stirred with spatula. Chill remaining Vi cup carnation in refrigerator try until soft ice crystals form around edges of tray (10 - 15 min). Whip until stiff (1 min.) Add lemon juice. Whip very stiff (1 mix more). Fold whipped carnation into chilled cranberry mixture. Spoon into pie shell. Chill until firm (about 2 hrs). Garnish with orange slicds. For 9” crunch crust Mix 1 cup graham wafer crumbs with 2 tbsp, sugar and Vi cup melted butter. Line sides and bottom of 9” pie plate. Bake in slow oven (325°) 7 to 8 min. Cool.
