ON WEDNESDAY, SEPTEMBER 3, 1950, not on September 27, aspreviously advertised, istrict Weddings Bundy-Nediger Wesley-Willis LI:united Church, Clinton, was the setting Saturday afternoon at 2.30 o'oloch, for the Wedding of Elizabeth Louise Ned- agar, Clinton, and Douglas Robert Bundy, Saskatoon, Sask. The bride is a ,dlaughter of Mr. and IVErs. Jahn Nediger, Clinton, and the bridegroom is a son of Mr. and Mrs. E. C, Bundy, Avonlea, Sask. Rev. J. A. McKim performed the ceremony in a setting of white gladioli and tall tapers in candel- abra. The organist, ars. M. Ren- nie, Seaforth, accompanied the so- loist, William Andrews, Toronto, Given in marriage by her father, the bride wore a floor-length gown of silk organza and net over taffeta. The snugly fitted bodice, 'appliqued with Swiss em- broidered floral' motifs, extended into a bouffant skirt similarly ap- pliqued, which extended into a chapel train. A tiara of seed pearls and sequins held her silk illusion veil and she carried pink sweet- heart roses with stephanotis. Miss Gail Shearing, St. Thomas, was maid of honor and the brides- maids were Miss Celista Counter, Clinton and Miss Donna Bundy, Arvonlea, sister of the bridegr'oorn. They wore identically styled ball- erina gowns in Oriental blue crys- tag; ,dhanm, fashioned on princess lines, with full gored skirt. The bodice featured Empire bands on front, and fly panel at the back. Their headdresses, were matching feather bands and they carried baskets of pink carnations, white p,omporn chrysanthemums: and blue, cornflowers,. Little Martha Lynn Hardy Clin- ton, niece of the bride, as flower girl wore white dotted nylon, aver blue crinoline, with, blue .cummer- bund, and she carried a basket of sweet peas and blue cornflow- ers. Paul 'Agin, Toronto, was grooms man, and the ushers were William Nediger, Seafoath, brother of the bride, and John, Mawdsiey, Blyth. For the wedding reception in the church parlor, the bride's mother wore a midnight blue flowered gown with black accessories and a corsage of pink sweetheart ros- es. She was assisted by the bride- groom's mother who wore a powd- er blue sheath, pink accessories CY COL. The double ring ceremony was conducted by the Rev. T, J, Pitt, Mrs. Addie Willis, Toronto, ac- companied the soloist, Miss Jayne Mary Snell, Clinton, who sang "The Wedding Prayer" and "I'll Walk Beside You", The bride, given in marriage by her father, wore a full length and a corsage of pink sweetheart roses, For a wedding trip to New York city and Montreal, the bride traveled in a two piece dress of French jacquard weave in beige tones, brown accessories and a corsage of Talisman roses, Mr. and Mrs. Bundy will reside in Lac. St. Denis; Que, The bride- groom is a graduate of the College of Engineering, University of Sas- katchewan Saskatoon. gown of Chantilly lace and net, The fitted bodice, which extended to points over the bouffant net skirt, featured a scalloped neck- line and lily-point Sleeves. A car- onet of seed pearls and rhine- stones held liar three-quarter- length veil, and she carried a cascade of red roses,. Wearing identical gowns of figured blue organza were the at- tendants: Miss Nancy Webster, the bride's sister, as maid of hon- our; Miss Ruth Clarke, R.N., Stratford and Miss Diane Saund- ers, Royal Oak, Mich„ niece of the groom, as bridesmaids, Miss Gail Searle, Walton, niece of the groom, was flower girl, wearing a frock of yellow organdy, Ross McCall, Blyth, was grooms- man, and ushers were Jack Hol- mes, Clinton, and George Cole- man, Toronto, The reception was held at the Little Inn, hayfield. For travelling the bride don- ned a pink wool suit, navy acces- sories and a corsage of white 'mums.
