ing the lady's parents, Mr. and

Mr, and Mrs. Charles Brown
and family spent some time visit-
ing friends in Brampton and Gan-
antique. enjoying the 1000 Island
tours and the Seaway tour at
Cornwall'.

London Road Club Will
Meet on September 5
The London Road Club will hold
their September meeting on the
first Thursday, September 4, at
the 'home of Mrs. Monaghan. Host-
esses will be Mrs. Managhan and
Mrs. Bennett. Roll call will be
answered by giving "your favour-
ite pickle recipe."
