Mrs. Fenwick Stewart
Alice E, Rathwell, widow of
Fenwick Stewart, passed away in
London on July 5, 1958. The late
Mrs, Stewart was born on the
Bayfield Line in Goderich Town-
ship, March 30, 1874. She was the
daughter of Mr. and Mrs.' Samuel
Rathwell and spent her early life
there,
In December, 1898, she was
married to Fenwick Stewart and
they settled on the fourth conces-
sion of Stanley Township where
they lived for over 50 years. Lat-
er she lived in Brucefield and for
the past five years has resided in
London. Her husband predeceased
her in February, 1953.
The late Mrs. Stewart is sur-
vived by three sons and one dau-
ghter: Harvey, London; Kenneth,
Brucefield; Clifford, S t a n l e y
Township; and Mrs, Fred (Mary)
Smith, Toronto. Also one brother,
Ben Rathwell, Bayfield.
The funeral was held from the
Sall and Mutch funeral home, High
Street, Clinton, on Monday, July 7
to Baird's Cemetery, with the
Rev. Sidney Davison, Brucefield,
officiating.
Pallbearers were Ray Fear,
Lawrence Stephenson, Fred Slo-
man, Gordon Rathwell, Fred Rath -
well and D'Arcy Rathwell. The
flower -bearers were Jack Stewart,
Kenneth Stewart, Donald Glen and
Robert Glen.

Mrs. Fenwick Stewart
Alice E, Rathwell, widow of
Fenwick Stewart, passed away in
London on July 5, 1958. The late
Mrs, Stewart was born on the
Bayfield Line in Goderich Town-
ship, March 30, 1874. She was the
daughter of Mr. and Mrs.' Samuel
Rathwell and spent her early life
there,
In December, 1898, she was
married to Fenwick Stewart and
they settled on the fourth conces-
sion of Stanley Township where
they lived for over 50 years. Lat-
er she lived in Brucefield and for
the past five years has resided in
London. Her husband predeceased
her in February, 1953.
The late Mrs. Stewart is sur-
vived by three sons and one dau-
ghter: Harvey, London; Kenneth,
Brucefield; Clifford, S t a n l e y
Township; and Mrs, Fred (Mary)
Smith, Toronto. Also one brother,
Ben Rathwell, Bayfield.
The funeral was held from the
Sall and Mutch funeral home, High
Street, Clinton, on Monday, July 7
to Baird's Cemetery, with the
Rev. Sidney Davison, Brucefield,
officiating.
Pallbearers were Ray Fear,
Lawrence Stephenson, Fred Slo-
man, Gordon Rathwell, Fred Rath -
well and D'Arcy Rathwell. The
flower -bearers were Jack Stewart,
Kenneth Stewart, Donald Glen and
Robert Glen.
