The bride, given in marriage by
her father, wore a full length
gown of nylon net and, lace over
satin fashioned with chantilly lace
aver satin bodice, and 'boiler° With
tiny lace cellar and long lily .point
sleeves, The bouffant skirt in
four tiers of net each with a deep
border of lace.

She carried a cascade of red
roses and white baby 'mums. The
attendants, Miss Grace johns, maid
of honour, and Miss Barbara, Des-
jardine sister of the bride, as
bridesmaid, wore waltz length bou-
ffant gowns of aqua nylon net
over taffeta and pink nylon net
over taffeta. They carried bou-
quets of pink rose buds and white
and yellow 'mums.
Groomsmen were Roger Warier
brother of the groom, and Gerald
Bell.
The ushers were Gilbert Johns
of Exeter and Raymond Latta of
Grand Bend.
The sisters of the bride, Linda
and Heather, sang; The Lord is my
Shepherd,

The wedding dinner was held in
the church parlour with Mrs. Des-
jardine, mother of the bride, re-
ceiving in rose lace over taffeta,
assisted by the groom's mother in
forget-me-not blue lace.
For travelling the bride wore a
blue taffeta dress with white ac-
cessories. The couple will reside
in Hansa
log.
The G.A. plan to visit the Sh-
eaffer Pen Factory in Goderich,
and a picnic lunch at the lake to
follow. The Little Helpers under
the direction of Mrs. lairby also
plan a June picnic on the 24th
on the rectory a,awil.
Mrs. Van Dainme gave a splend-
id report on the Spring Deanery
held in Gerrie and quoting from
Mrs. !Calder's address she said,
" We must sell our religion and
get it across in these days of
Communism and get behind our
religion in prayer and the will to
work for Christ." Her sincere de-
sire was that all would da some-
thing about it. The fall Deanery
will be held in Clinton.

meeting and gave a fine address.

Pre-Nuptial Parties
Miss Carole Richardson, Hens-
all, brideelect of June 20, was
honoured at several pre-nuptial
parties.
Mrs. Robert Bell was hostess
for 40 friends and relatives, when
Mrs. Glen Weide, Zurich, read the
presentation address and gifts
were presented by Miss Carol Rei-
chert and Miss Gail Richardson.
Fellow employees enjoyed an
evening of howling at Grand
Bend, after which they entertain-
ed at the home of Mr. and Mrs.
A. Scholl, Hensall. A presentat-
ion was read and made by Miss
Joan Koehler.
Mrs. Ronald Mock entertained
30 neighbours at a shower in her
home, when gifts were presented
to Miss Richardson by Mary and
Linda Mack.
Pouring tea in the evening
were Mrs, Harald Scrutora Port
Dover; Mrs. Clifford Cooper, Clin-
ton, Miss Jayne Marys Sneii had
charge of the guest book. Dis-
playing gifts were Mrs. R, Fair-

president, Mrs. Hudie, fed in the
Litany and the prayers, and Mrs,

er for Miss Frances Hawkins, The
minutes of the previous meeting
