the local greens, winners were:

Inspects RCAF Station
Air Vice Marshall J. G.
OBE, CD, carried out his annual
inspection parade of ROAF Sta-
tion, Clinton on 1Vtonday and Tues-
day. AJV/lVf Bryans is- Air Of-
Veer Commanding, Training Com-
mand Headquarters, Trenton. Dur-
ing his two day stay at Clinton,
he examined' all phases' of activity
at Station Clinton, which is one
of the lergeet stations in the
Russell Holmes, president-elect
of Clinton Lions Club, attended
the WOAA. Juvenile baseball sch-
edule meeting last night. Eight
teams are entered: Three "B"
series teams, Gorier:10h, Walkert-
on. and Distowetle three "C" ser-
ces teams, Canton, -Kincardine and
New Hamburg; and two "D" ser-
ies teams, Clifford and Sebring-
On the completion of the single
schedule. on August 9, the "B"
and "C" teams Will each play a
round-robin -series, then the two
top teams play a two out :of three
series for the 'right to go on in
OBA, phyclowns.
League games must 'be seven
innings, while play off games
must go nine. innings. All games
are- called for 6.30 o'clock except
the Clinton vs. Listowel game on
July 19 which will be at 2 p.m.

Held Over Clinton

the Stations: of Clinton and Cent-
ralia combining efforts for regale

An air drop will be carried out
over Clinton, and over other vein-
eipall centres in the area some-

The pamphlets dropped will ad-
vertise Air Force Day, and some
of them will entitle the finders
to free- airplane rides on Air Force

Clinton Airforce "A" pack are go-
ing to serve- tea, This' Father's
Day Tea on Saturday afternoon,
June 7, will be held in the 'Ritchie
Building at RCAF Station Clinton,
and funds raised wilt be for camp-
ing, equipment for the pack.
All; ladies of the district are in-
vited to attend Tea will be served
by the fathers, -and at three
o'clock, an 'auction sale will be
held of various very worth-while
items donated by the merchants
of, the. area. These items have
been on display in the former
W. C. Newcombe store window,

The Clinton Football teem has
two games behind it so far, one
win and one tied game. They
will face Walton in 'that
