Mrs. Edward Grigg has returned
to her home following .3 stay in
Clinton Public Hospital,
Jack Norman, who was a. patient
in the hospital at Norarla; Rue,,
has been allowed to return to his
home in Noranda.
Mr. and Mrs, C. Cudmore .and
family, Hamilton, spent the May
24 holiday weekend with Mr. and
Mrs. H. Cuchnore.
Mr, and Mrs. T, Beatty, Willow-
dale, and Miss Belva Howatt, of
Vancouver, 13.o., were recent
guests of Mr, and Mrs, Frank Me-
Culleugb.
Mr. and Mrs. W. Norman, Mr.
and Mrs, L, E. Morton and Mr.
and Mrs. F. McCullough were in
Kitchener on May 17. Mr. and
Mrs. Norman attended. the Preston
Scout House band concert and Mr,

ace Church will meet on Wednes-
day, June 1.1 at the parsonage,
Hayfield. Please note the meet-
ing being held one day earlier
than the usual date,
Sunday School anniversary ser-
vice was held , in Grace Church
on Sunday last. Guest speaker
was George Jefferson, Clinton Who
delivered a most interesting ser-
mon to both parents end children.
A 'duet "The Beautiful Garden
of 'Prayer" was' sung by Peggy
'Ann BettleS and Sharon Lock-
hart. Scripture was read by Joan-
ne Harrison.
The primary and 'beginners
classes joined in singing 'Jesus
Bids us" Shine". A due't "In the
Garden" was' sung by Gail Lock-
hart and Dianne Harris. The
Sunday School choir anthem was
"Glory to Gad for His Sunshine"
The church was beautifully decor-
ated with spring flowers for the
occasion.
Mr. and Mrs. Eric Cox and
family, Chatham, spent Sunday
with Mr. and Mrs. Austin Harris.
Milton Woods returned home
from Clinton Public Hospital on
Saturday afternoon,
Several from the district went
on the bus trip last Friday spon-
sored by the Huron County Hol-
stein Association.

"All of the spring planted crops
are sliming a great deal of ian-
