Saturday afternoons' Mrs. Car-
hart and Mrs. Macaulay attended
the 75th 'annivezisary of Victoria
'Hospital, London, where they were
former graduates.

The May meeting of /the Moth-
er's Study Group of Wesley-Wil-
United Church was held on
Tuesday evening at the home of
Mrs. Alvin Wise. Mrs. Percy Liv-
ermore was in charge of the meet-
ilag.
A pageant "Mothers Of The
13ible" was peeformed by scene
of the mothers, Mrs. Bill Holland
'favored with two enjoyable num-
bers on 'the accordion. Rev. J. A,
McKim was guest speaker, and
spoke on "Our Task". This prov-
ed to be a very thought-provoking
message. A poem entitled "The
Minister's Wife" was read by Mrs.
Eugene McAdam. The meeting
closed with the benediction. A
social time was enjoyed,

Mr, and Mrs. C. A. Trott spent
Sunday With their daughter, a
Grade 10 student of St. Joseph's
Academy, London.
Dr. and Mrs. Allan B. Sylvester,
Bovemenville, were weekend visit-
ors with Mr. and Mrs. Percy E,
Town and Miss Emma Levi's.
W, E. Perdue left early Friday
morning to catch bus in Kitch-
ener for a tour of the St. Law-
rence Seaway, returning home ear-
ly Sunday morning. He was the
only representative of Clinton
PUC en the tour which was spon-
sored by the Hamilton Region of
the H.E.P.C. Also on tour were
J. Holmes and Frank Kling, Sea-
forth and Clark Moses, Mitchell.
