Sixteen members and two vis-

Christian Stewardship. Roll call
was answered by presenting birth-

Mrs. Durnin thanked Mrs. Fair-
service for the lovely flowers br-

Day. Donations of hymn books
were asked for from the congreg-
ation for 'the church. Arrange-
ments were made for the bake
sale.
Mrs. Clarence Crawford, who is
to take ;the paper on Christian
citizenship for the coming year,
gave 'a report on the fifth an-
nual Meeting of the Huron Pres-
bytery, held in Winghaan an May
7.
Mrs. Bert Shabbrcok gave sev-
eral good readings and conchinted
a contest. Palming as hymn,

New Elders
At an impressive service in
Manx Presbyterian Church on Sun-
day afternoon, two men, Kenneth
Scott and Donald Haines' were
ordained into the 'eldership of
'the dhureb. The new elders had
been voted upon by the members
of the ehurch, earlier in the
month.
The service of ordination was
conducted by Rev. D. J. Lane',
who also, preached a sermon on
the significance 'and ,the respon-
sibility of this high office.
Other elders of Knox Session
are T. C. ;Stoltz, William Watson,
John Houston and Alfred Rollin-
son.
