In order to have funds. available•to 'replace the present heavy
pole line from Carlow South for 1 and 1/4; miles with cable, and split
the more crowded circuits, application has been made to the Ontario
Telephone Authority for authority to make the following charges for
telephone service effective as at June 1, 1958.
Exchange Rates ,
Individual line Business ..........:. $3.00 per month
Residence .. $2.75 per mont
Two-party line Business ............`$2.75 per rnon2
Residence $2.50 per month
Multi-party line (on circuits having
3 to 10 telephones) $2.25 per month
Multi-party line (on circuits having -
11 or more telephones) $2.10'per month
Renter's rate to - be .25 cents per month extra.•
.25c per month discount if paid within 30 days of date _
of account, on each of the above rate,
The above rates for individual and two-party line service will
apply only within the Base Rate Area which is defined as that area
within 1/1 mile of the exchange.
If individual or two-party line service is required beyond the
above limits, there will ben an additional charge for extra mileage of
forty-five cents a month for each Y4 mile or fraction thereof for
individual line and 'twenty-five cents a month for each % mile or
fraction thereof for each party on a two-party line.
