Harry Watkins (left) CH&
ton, and Arthur Dutton, Bruce-
field are happy to supply their
customers with just the right
blend. of gasoline to suit their
particular make of car. Both
have heard favourable corn-
meat, and Mr, Dutton feels
that the new pump will lead
•to more "fill-er-up" orders, as
customers will wish to make
sure of reaching the next loc-
ation where suck a pump is
in operation.
The blend is selected by the
garage attendant to suit the needs
of his customer. As he adjusts
the dial to pick out the right
blend, an automatic adjustment
makes sure that the correct price
for that blend is recorded on the
pump.
Customers like custom blending,
for they have' an opportunity of
choosing the' proper 'grade for
their own motor. Sunoco provides
a chart by which the buyer knows
what to buy, If he finds that his
motor will operate well on a low-
er octane than that which is re-
commended, then he will find a
saving to himself in being able to
buy cheaper.
The lowest blend is the regular
Sunoco 200. Then 210, 220, 230,
2t0 and 260 are also available,
with a price spread between each.
one. The 260 blend is the most ex-
pensive.
Buyers of fuel for use on the
arm will have Sunoco 200 deliver-
ed to his tanks. If his car de-
mands a higher. octane; he will be
able to purchase it at the garage
of his choice.
