Ladies Guild The March meeting of St. Mark's Ladies Guild was held at the rectory, Blytli, March 11 with a good attendance of members and visitors from Brussels. ,The host- ess, Mrs. 13. de Vries, opened the meeting with the hymn, "What a Friend we have in Jesus!" Scripture was read by Rev. Bren de Vries from the 4th •chapter of St. John and led, in prayer. The Study Book on churches in Japan-was given by Mrs. C. Brown. Mrs, F. Clark gave a reading. A quartette consisting of Mrs. G. Taylor, Mrs. J. Daer, Mrs, L. Glasgow and Mrs. G. Schneider sang 'The Old Rugged Cross",•ac- companied by Mrs. R. J. Phillips on the harp. Mrs. Jewell; the 1.'ector's wife from Brussels, gave an inspiring topic on "You are God's chosen people". She also told of their experiences on Manitoulin Island with the Indians and the bales sent to them. The clothing and bedding made them very happy. Mrs. John Daer presided for the business.
