At 16.07 in the first period, Clinton goalie Don Denomme re- ceived a bad gash on the head from a Pt. Edward stick, 'arid had to be rushed to a doctor's office for several stitches. The extra three minutes and 53 seconds were added' to the second period, with Denomme back in the Clinton net. Pt. Edward led 3-2 at the end of the first period. Colts goals were scored by Jack lVleriam and, Ken Doig. In the second, the Colts went ahead' 6-4 on two goals by Bob Doig and one, each by Ken Doig and John Hartley.
